What you’ll learn
- Choose the right regional banner
- Understand guarantees and target odds
- Use daily and weekly mission rewards
1. Separate tickets, coins and collection goals
Tickets are used for regional gacha pulls. Coins are a different resource used for partner progression. A single ticket and a ×10 ticket also have different batch behavior: ten separate single pulls do not receive the special last-result guarantee of a ten-pull batch.
Choose a collection goal before spending. If you want one species, find its region and rarity in the Pokédex, then select the corresponding regional banner. If you mainly want any rare partner, that is a different probability question from targeting one specific species.
Use the game to inspect current balances and claim rewards. This site cannot read your save, move tickets between accounts or make pulls on your behalf. Review the banner rules and guarantees in this guide before choosing a ticket budget.
2. Read the base rates and the regional pool
The base rarity rates are 45% for 1★, 30% for 2★, 17% for 3★, 6.5% for 4★ and 1.5% for 5★. Inside a rarity tier, eligible species in that regional pool have equal selection weight. Different regions contain different numbers of species at each rarity.
A target’s ordinary per-pull chance is the rarity rate divided by the number of eligible partners at that rarity in the banner. That is a baseline before pity or a batch guarantee changes the rarity roll. Do not multiply an ordinary chance by a large number of pulls and call it a guaranteed result.
For example, Pikachu is a 2-star Kanto partner. Kanto has 41 partners at that rarity, so its ordinary single-pull chance is 30% ÷ 41, about 0.7317%. Pity or the restricted last result of a ten-pull changes the rarity roll; this baseline is not the chance for every position in a batch.
3. Understand what pity and ten-pulls promise
The counter is checked after it increments: at 69 without a 5★ result, the next pull is forced to 5★. A 5★ result resets the counter. Pity is tracked by regional banner, so use the value shown for the banner you intend to pull.
A ten-pull has a separate floor. If its first nine results contain no 4★ or 5★, the tenth result is restricted to those two rarities, using their relative 6.5:1.5 weights. That means 81.25% for 4★ and 18.75% for 5★ on that restricted roll, unless pity already forces 5★.
A guaranteed rarity does not guarantee a particular species. Seventy pulls can guarantee at least one 5★ under these rules without guaranteeing your chosen legendary. When comparing budgets, keep the goal set to the actual species rather than reading the any-5★ result as target odds.
4. Build a reward routine you can complete
Runs, achievements, completed missions and world rewards all contribute to progression. Choose a few attainable objectives for the partner and route you are already practicing. Repeated short, successful objectives can be more useful than attempting a long run you cannot yet finish reliably.
The game’s locked chest requires 3.5 seconds nearby and drops 1–3 single tickets, with separate rolls for an extra ×10 ticket and a held item. A thief may carry coins or a ×10 ticket. These rewards require surviving and collecting them; do not treat a risky chase as free income.
Achievement rewards are granted automatically when their conditions are detected; completed mission rewards need a manual claim in the Missions screen. Read the objective before starting: a type-specific defeat target, a single-run survival target and a cumulative count require different behavior. Compare the mission goals below before choosing a route.
5. Plan around daily and weekly templates
You receive three daily missions and two weekly missions, drawn from ten daily and six weekly possibilities. Each assignment receives one of the listed target values; some also receive a Pokémon type. Calendar periods use Europe/Madrid and selection varies by account. The goals below show the possible assignments; check your current ones in the game.
Survival, level and play-with-a-type objectives keep the best qualifying single-run result. Defeats, chests, coins, evolutions and similar objectives accumulate qualifying progress. Run-end values such as time and coins are processed when a run ends.
Completing a target and claiming its reward are separate steps. Open the Missions screen to claim. The game allows one daily replacement per day, excluding objectives already in the current daily set. A weekly completed-dailies objective advances through claimed daily missions.

6. Treat shiny appearance as a separate goal
Eligible gacha selections use a 1% shiny check. Ordinary wild spawns and scheduled map bosses use 1 in 4,096, while a Rift legendary has its own 1-in-512 check when selected. Shiny artwork must exist. Enemy shinies must be defeated before the form is collected; merely seeing one does not unlock it.
If a rolled shiny is already owned, the game tries a missing shiny in the same region and rarity. When that pool is exhausted, it can return a normal result. Do not plan income around an unconditional triple-refund promise for every completed shiny pool.
The available game artwork contains shiny sprites for 958 of the 966 roster species. Missing artwork is explicitly marked in the Pokédex. A color variation does not change the partner’s base stats. Compare the actual sprites below and pursue a shiny after deciding whether collection breadth or that cosmetic target matters more.
Normal & shiny appearances
A color variant does not change a partner’s base stats. Artwork availability is separate from the chance of rolling a shiny.

7. Before the next pull
Confirm the banner, name the target and read that banner’s current pity counter. Choose single or ten-pull mode correctly. Use a budget you already have, then compare the target result with the any-5★ result so the two goals stay separate.
After pulling, check new partners, duplicate coin refunds and the current regional pity counter in the game before planning another batch. A 5★ result resets that region’s pity counter. If your collection goal changes, check the new target’s region and rarity pool before choosing a banner. Before changing devices, press Save and check the upload status. A pull is recorded locally first; the next automatic cloud upload can still be pending.
For the next run, return to the same simple progression loop: choose a partner you can use well, finish compatible objectives, claim completed rewards and spend toward a specific goal. A larger collection adds options; practiced movement and card choices make those options useful.
